"Here’s What You Don’t Know About Greater Philadelphia"

Please join PPRA for a special program highlighting the many amazing assets that make our Greater Philadelphia community such a special place to live, work, play, dine, explore, create, innovate, and raise a family.

Come learn not just about our dynamic past – as home of the first U.S. hospital, mint, bank, university, and more – but also about the innovations and collaborations of today and tomorrow that position our region as an international gateway for business growth, tourism, financial services, technology, and research. You’ll learn why people from around the country and the world – especially millennials – want to make their home and grow their careers in our 11-county neighborhood of Greater Philadelphia.

We’ll kick off with remarks and Q&A with Nick Bayer of Saxby’s Coffee Company, who will share insight about why he chose Greater Philadelphia for his start-up coffee company, followed by a panel discussion with:
• Meghan Kelly of Select Greater Philadelphia
• MaryFrances McGarrity of Chester County Economic Development Council
• Tamarra Morris, Economic Development, New Castle County
• Heather Simmons, Gloucester County Freeholder
• Dawn Summerville of the Philadelphia Department of Commerce
• Moderated by PPRA Hall of Famer Matt Cabrey of Select Greater Philadelphia.
