PPRA is honoring The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia with its prestigious 2012 Gold Medal Award on October 22, 2012. The PPRA Gold Medal Award honors individuals and organizations whose accomplishments have left a lasting impact on our community and brought national recognition to Philadelphia.

CHOP has more No. 1 rankings than any other children's hospital in the nation and also again tied for the No. 1 overall ranking on the U.S. News Honor Roll. Established in 1855 as the nation's first pediatric hospital, The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia has fostered medical discoveries and innovations that have improved pediatric healthcare and saved countless children's lives.
