  • T. Jarrod Bolden is the Principal Consultant of Center City Strategies. In this role, his responsibilities include the strategic and day to day management of firm activities. His career is documented with proven and consistent success in diverse areas such as the federal government, Fortune 500 companies, political campaigns, and civic engagement.

    In 2009, T. Jarrod received an Executive Appointment to the United States Senate. He worked in the Sergeant at Arms (SAA) organization under the leadership of the Senate’s 38th Sergeant at Arms, Terrance Gainer, Sr. There, he served as a liaison between the entities within the SAA organization and as a non-partisan to various Senate offices and committees. Included in his portfolio were The Office of the Vice-President of the United States, The Senate Committee on Rules and Administration, The Office of Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), and The Office of Senator Chuck Schumer (D-New York) to name a few. T. Jarrod was also responsible for the oversight of operations and staff in the Senators-elect Transition Office for the 113th Congress - one of the largest in history.

    While in Washington, DC he advocated for community and economic development efforts as a volunteer with the Capitol Riverfront’s Business Improvement District. From 2009-2014 he served as the President and CEO of the 100 member Onyx on First Tenants’ Association, Inc. He was instrumental in facilitating an $82.4 million transaction between Canyon-Johnson Urban Funds and JP Morgan Chase under the provisions of Washington D.C.’s unique Tenant Opportunity to Purchase Act (TOPA). From 2009-2013 T. Jarrod also served as a Champion for Kids Partner with DC Government’s Children and Family Services Agency (CFSA).

    Before entering public service, T. Jarrod worked in the utilities sector with Atlanta, GA-based Southern Company, a Fortune 500 Company. During his 11 year tenure, he worked across multiple functions and subsidiaries leading diverse and high performing teams.

    A proud native of Alabama, T. Jarrod earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from Auburn University Montgomery and a Master of Public Administration degree with an emphasis in Public Management from Troy University. He is an active lifetime member of the alumni associations of both universities. T. Jarrod has also completed additional professional education courses via Georgia Institute of Technology and The American Management Association. Among his current civic and professional memberships are The William Way LGBT Community Center, The Philadelphia Public Relations Association, The Liberty City LGBT Democratic Club, and The National Association of Black Journalists.

    In his free time, he enjoys reading, traveling, and working on community service projects.
