Mark Eyerly is associate dean for communications at the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Prior to joining Penn Law in February 2008, he spent four years as chief communications officer at Temple University, where he led university-wide communications about research, teaching, community service and student life.
Prior to joining Temple in 2003, Mark was director of communications and chief of staff at the William Penn Foundation; vice president for corporate communications in PNC Bank’s Philadelphia market; and assistant director and managing editor of the news service at Cornell University.
Mark began his career as a senior staff writer with the Lancaster (Pa.) New Era, covering education, the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant and other stories.
Mark holds a bachelor of arts in journalism summa cum laude from Temple and a master of science in organizational dynamics from Penn.
