Honors & Awards
There are four opportunities to be recognized by the Philadelphia Public Relations Association each year. The Board of Governors, along with a nominating committee, take pride in selecting the most deserving individuals and, in some cases organizations. The Gold Medal Award, the Fast-Track Award and the Dr. Jean Brodey Student Achievement Award are all awarded annually. The highest honor given to a member of the Association is induction into the PPRA Hall of Fame each spring. You can learn about eligibility for this distinguished honor by clicking here.
Nominations for the 2020 Dr. Jean Brodey Student Achievement Award and the 2020 President's Fast Track Award will be accepted in Spring 2020.
Hall of Fame
Created in 1972, the Philadelphia Public Relations Association's Hall of Fame recognizes an individual in the Public Relations profession who, by his/her accomplishments, has brought honor and recognition to both the public relations community and to the Greater Philadelphia region.
Gold Medal Award
The PPRA Gold Medal Award honors individuals and organizations whose accomplishments have left a lasting impact on our community and brought national recognition to Philadelphia. This is a unique opportunity for the association to spotlight non-members that are deserving.
The PPRA Fast-Track Award honors a member of PPRA who has made great contributions to the organization, profession, the community and who exemplifies PPRA's vision for the future.
Dr. Jean Brodey Student Achievement Award
The Dr. Jean Brodey Student Achievement Award is awarded annually to a college junior or senior who has exhibited outstanding professional promise in the field of public relations, has an excellent academic track record and contributes to his or her community.
