#PhillyDelivers: PPRA Hosts Panel Discussion on Amazon HQ2

PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Philadelphia Public Relations Association (PPRA) will host #PhillyDelivers: The Regional Effort to Land Amazon HQ2 on Tuesday, November 28, from 8-10 a.m. at WHYY (150 North 6th Street, Philadelphia, Sharp Room) to discuss the city’s bid to land Amazon’s second headquarters and the economic potential of such a game-changing project.

Moderated by PPRA’s Matt Cabrey, Executive Director of Select Greater Philadelphia, PPRA Past President and 2011 PPRA Hall of Fame Inductee, the discussion will tap into the expertise of some of the key players responsible for putting together the proposals, campaigns, and messaging behind the bids.

Panelists include: Louis Cappelli, Camden County Freeholder and Chairman; Harold Epps, Director, City of Philadelphia, Department of Commerce; Anne Nevins, Senior Vice President, Marketing & Business Development, PIDC and Jim Saksa, Transportation Reporter, PlanPhilly/WHYY

This event will give attendees a better understanding the transformational potential of this project – on the economy, housing market, job growth, image and reputation, and more – across the 11-county community of northern Delaware, southern New Jersey, and Southeastern Pennsylvania.
