Philly PRoactive

Established in 2009 under past PPRA president and philanthropist Dr. Bill Cowen, PPRA’s Philly PRoactive program helps extend the good work of worthy organizations. Each year, a new nonprofit benefits from the support of PPRA’s members who lend their time and talents as public relations professionals.

This year PPRA partnered with Tree House Books, a nonprofit Literacy Center and Giving Library that provides free access to books and literacy programs to Philadelphia children and their families in low-income neighborhoods. Through the partnership, PPRA members contributed to a book drive, volunteered to decorate Tree House Book’s Holiday Gift Shoppe and provided public relations support.
