is being inducted into the PPRA Hall of Fame.
The PPRA Hall of Fame recognizes public relations professionals whose accomplishments have brought honor and recognition to the profession. The Award is the Philadelphia region’s most prestigious recognition of a public relations professional for his or her superior contributions to the industry, the community, and PPRA.
Feistman directs Temple’s PR major, has expanded the program, and mentored many students who are now leaders in the local communications field. His expertise includes reputation management, strategic communications planning, corporate sponsorship, crisis communications, media relations, and organizational communication. Feistman is also the faculty advisor for both Temple’s chapter of the Public Relations Student Society of America, (PRSSA) currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary and PRowl Public Relations, Temple’s nationally affiliated, student-run PR firm.
He was previously vice president and director of public relations for ING DIRECT, public relations manager for Pep Boys, and assistant vice president for corporate public relations at CoreStates Financial Corp. He has also served as a strategic consultant for Rohm and Haas, The Philadelphia Human Resources Professionals Society, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
A long-standing member of PPRA, Feistman has served on the Public Affairs Committee, the Nominations Committee, and most recently co-chaired the PPRA Mentoring Committee, where he helped restructure programming and orientations for new mentees.
